Tonight I got word that St. Cloud School Board member, Bruce Hentges, will be running as a DFLer to replace Tarryl Clark in Senate District 15. At a caucus convener training Hentges announced that he is running because he believes he “can provide a service to the residents of Senate District 15 at the state legislature and can represent the values and goals of the people of this district“.
From his school board bio:
Bruce Hentges is a life-long resident of District 742. He grew up in Clear Lake and attended District 742 schools (as did his mother and nine brothers and sisters). He has a BA in Social Science from St. John’s University. He also received his Master’s Degree as well as his 6th Year Certification in Educational Administration from St. Cloud State University.
So far, Hentges is the only DFL candidate to step forward.

Great job breaking this story!
